My review of the iPad -The review (Part 2 of 2)

E-mail Print PDF

Now, let’s start the review.

Firsts of all, I’ve ordered the iPad with the Apple Case. It seems to me to be the mandatory accessory and should have been included with every iPad. The iPad is great but can be slippery and you don’t want to drop something with that price tag !

It seems pretty light but after some time handholding it can be exhausting. I often use it on my laps (with the help of the case to have a better angle of view), on the table to write or watch movies/websites, so I rarely handhold it, or for the few times I rest it on my forearm.

I had to record a radio station as my wife was part of a show. I was unable to find a free recorder without limitation (time and/or size, etc.).

So my goal for the next software will be to write a PLSRecorder in C# .NET without limitation.

ScanFolderToEmail v0.9.0 in C# .NET

E-mail Print PDF

Hello Everyone,

Here is my first command line application developed for this website. It is released under GPL v3.0.

I had to develop this app to scan a folder and send by email all the files to an email address, to prevent the user to have access to the folder but still receive the file. It can be of great help if you have people uploading files to an FTP server and you want to receive those files by email as soon as they reach the server.
